My passion for art is driven by a creative soul mixed with a logical brain. This is most evident in the way that I analyze and prepare my artwork for completion. While I have desire to fly a little more by the seat of my pants, I tend to think through, plan and plot, most of my creations to the point that they struggle to come to fruition. While most people dread deadlines, they are my best friend, as they force me to make decisions and move forward with the creative process.

I enjoy working in a variety of mediums from oil paints, to mosaics, graphite drawings, digital art and especially three-dimensional design. I am most driven and energized when working on a commissioned projects that will serve a specific purpose or fill an empty spot on my clients wall.

I am easy going, fun-loving and hope to continue my study of the arts for a very long time. I am thankful to my terrific family for letting me take over the house with multiple projects; for my husband Robert who has learned to shake his head wait patiently for projects to be finished, to my boys Jarrett and Brendan for being my assistants and guinea pigs, and to Becca for letting me turn her room into my work studio/guest bedroom.
